About the AHCS Congress
The Inaugural AHCS Congress “Passionate for patients, passionate about science” will be held at the Royal College of General Practitioners, 30 Euston Square, London. The programme encompasses abreadth of cutting-edge science including Prof Chris Lowe, on nanotechnology inhealthcare and keynotes from George Freeman MP, Minister of State forLife Sciences and Ian Cumming, Chief Executive of Health Education England.
Through examples of innovative practice the inaugural Congressis designed to:
- Establish ‘One Voice’ for the contribution of the NHS’s 50,000 healthcare scientists to healthcare
- Address key issues in the education, training, continuous professional development and practice of healthcare scientists
- Promote greater awareness of, and interaction across healthcare science disciplines
