Communications Committee
The CommunicationsCommittee is responsible for developing the Society's communication strategywith a main focus on the production of the Bloodlines magazine and themanagement of the BBTS website
Committee Responsibilities
- Help develop and maintain a high profile for the society as a professional body
- Publicity and promotion of the BBTS Annual Conference and Special Interest Groups.
- Produce publicity material and lead promotions to recruit new members.
- Review the use and contents of the exhibition stand, including organising volunteers support for the exhibition and securing relevant space at meetings that will help promote the society and recruit new members.
- Review the BBTS website through contributing content, suggesting areas for development and benchmarking the site against other web-sites.
- Provide direction and guidance to the Newsletter Editor and BBTS office on the content and format of the BBTS newsletter.
- Ensure appropriate publicity and promotion links through good two-way communication with sister societies within the UK and internationally.
- Review all internal and external BBTS statements and publications.
