The British Blood Transfusion Society is pleased to announce the appointment of Wisdom Musabaike as Chair of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee.
Wisdom is Assistant Director of Red Cell Immunohaematology at NHS Blood and Transplant and has over 20 years of experience in transfusion science. A registered Biomedical Scientist, he has extensive experience in service delivery, workforce development and leading specialist laboratory services.
As Chair of the EDI Committee, Wisdom is committed to strengthening engagement across the Society's membership, promoting inclusive practice within the profession and supporting the continued development of BBTS as an inclusive and forward-looking professional community.
The Society warmly welcomes Wisdom to this role and looks forward to his leadership of the EDI Committee.
