Learning Objectives
Understanding the new recommendations for planning for mass casualty events. How different organisations prepare for such events and the importance of reviewing their own practise.

Brief Description
This session will look at the newly published NBTC Emergency planning recommendations. Initially we'll introduce the audience to the recommendations and then have presentations from a Blood Service and a Large Teaching hosptial on how they are preparing for such an event.
