Data Protection

When you join BBTS we ask you to provide some information about yourself, such as your contact details, job title, and your date of birth.  We will use this information to communicate with you, for our own statistical purposes, and to enable us to optimise the services we provide to you.  We may also ask you to confirm some of the information when you contact us so that we can verify your identity.

The information is stored on our electronic databases.  If you send us any information on paper such as a form or letter this will also be stored for as long as you are a member of the Society.  Some information has to be kept for longer, such as if you sit one of our examinations.  We will keep this information secure and will not send it on to third parties without your permission.
