Development Opportunity for Biomedical Scientists, Healthcare Scientists or Healthcare Practitioners


A 12 month structured distance e-learning and work based programme devised for HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists working in transfusion science either in a blood establishment or a hospital transfusion laboratory.

Closing date for applications:   12th November 2017

Programme Start:
Mid May 2018

Recognised Accredited Qualification Attracts 45 level 7 CATS points. Recognised by NHS Trust Hospitals and the UK Blood Services as supporting evidence of your fitness to practice at ‘specialist’ level.

Open to BBTS members who are HCPC registered BMSs (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. This course is accredited by The University of Manchester
