BBTS2016: It’s all about stem cells!
by Catherine Howell
Chief Nurse – Diagnostic & Therapeutic Services, NHSBT
Our Special Interest Group meeting
is all about stem cells. Come and join us to find out more about the journey of a stem cell from when and how it is collected, to a bit of science about the future and how these cells are revolutionising clinical practice.
Our varied programme should appeal to a wide range of delegates delivered over three exciting sessions. We have secured some excellent speakers and anticipate an informative and interactive day.
Our meeting is on Wednesday 21st September, commencing at 10:30am, the morning will be chaired by Dr Dan Hollyman. I am delighted to be chairing the session on clinical influences affecting collection efficiency, which I am sure will generate lots of debate.
We commit to concluding our session on time to ensure that we don’t impinge on valuable social time (straight to the bar?!). Kick off your attendance at the BBTS Annual Conference by joining our stem cell meeting – we promise it will be a good one.
