1. better understand alternative / additional options to transfusion, for patients and when may be used. 

2. Consider if they know how patients on the renal transplant waiting list at their hospital are treated for anaemia. 

3. Better understand the thinking / arguments behind Pathology Modernisation and how it may evolve.

Brief Description
Three plenary talks on changing or advancing areas: including Pathology Modernisation - how might it affect Transfusion? Also Interventional Radiology to tackle haemorrhage; and alternatives to transfusion in renal transplant patients, who may form HLA antibodies which can impact on transplant outcome.
