Transfusion threshold for Myelodysplasia. The place of fibrinogen concentrate in our haemostatic armoury. Use of pre-thawed plasma in the pre-hospital setting.
Brief Description
Transfusion in myelodysplasia, too much or too little? Results of the REDDS trial and the question of iron.Should we use plasma before or after red cells in trauma? Would we be better with plasma in addition or instead of red cells on board the helicopter? What is the role of fibrinogen concentrate in massive bleeding from any cause? Expert review of fiibrinogen concentrate use. Experience on board the trauma helicopter in the North east and evidence from cryostat1 and report from cryostat2.
