Brief Description
Transfusing patients can be challenging as there is a balance between working within guidelines and maintaining quality of life. There are a number of guidelines to help guide clinical practice but how good are they and can they be applied to all patients? Come to this session to hear the results of the National Comparative Audit of Haematology and discuss how we are complying with national guidance as a country and what improvements we can make to help improve patient care.
