Intended Audience:
The programme is aimed at a broad range of professionals interested in Donor health and management and anyone involved in Transfusion Medicine. 

Learning Objectives:
• To become familiar with current ongoing research in Donor Medicine and how this can influence practice

• To understand how we meet the needs of patients requiring rare blood- how do we identify and access donors with rare blood groups and the role of frozen blood bank

• To raise awareness about the use of an Emergency Donor Panel (EDP) in providing transfusion support to isolated military or civilian communities and resolve some of the practical aspects for the non-specialist faced with the emergency collection of warm fresh whole blood 

Brief Description: 
The programme will cover whole blood and blood component donors and provides a fantastic opportunity to meet peers and experts in the field and to exchange ideas and strategies. The presentations by eminent speakers, authors of best submitted abstracts and the networking opportunities will all help to increase your knowledge in the field of donor.
