Annual Conference

Don't miss this!

Iron: A common element........... but massively important

Wednesday 24th September 10:00-16:30, Auditorium

Iron may be a little ‘off’ some people's radar but in transfusion terms it is massively influential on patient treatment and wellbeing.  As we search to minimise patient stay, costs, transfusion and iatrogenic interventions, why not make a date to learn about ‘all things iron’ from the best?

We are extremely grateful for the unconditional educational grant received from Pharmacosmos UK who has supported us with this one day programme.  Our national and international presenters include:

Mr Toby Richards, Professor Guenter Weiss, Dr Kurinchi Gurusamy, Dr Chris Tselepis, Dr Simon Towler,  Professor Gavin Murphy, Professor Ravi Gill,  Dr Richard Burden,  Dr Andrew Klein, Dr Tariq Iqbal, Dr Ravi Rao Baikady, Dr Jose Garcia Erce

If you have, need or want influence on how we treat anaemia now and in the future then this exclusive day of learning,  running in conjunction with the Special Interest Groups is not to be missed by anaesthetists in training, staff involved in blood management:  eg, pre-operative anaemia management, haemorrhage management and staff involved in the use of cell salvage and viscoelastic testing.
