BBTS 2014 is a key date in the transfusion professionals' diary/calendar, not only for the educational programme and best practice advice but for the excellent networking opportunities with you our industry partners at the large exhibition and varied social events.
The BBTS Annual Conference is the UK's largest transfusion event. An exciting series of lectures and educational sessions attract approximately 500 professionals from around the globe enabling us to offer you unrivalled access to the key players in the field of transfusion.
The purpose built exhibition hall is located next to the breakout rooms and auditorium with catering points and posters distributed around the hall. This offers you excellent opportunities to share your expertise with the delegates during every break. Your stand is a major show piece for the latest services and products you have on offer where you can gain direct feedback from the delegates on a one to one basis.
Wednesday 24th September | 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Offers you a dedicated networking evening providing you with the perfect opportunity to make as many new leads as possible or merely to catch up with present customers and colleagues in a designated, relaxed and informal environment. Complimentary drinks and hot supper will be served to you and the delegates. There will be live entertainment from the St Aidan's Swing Band at 8:30pm in the upper foyer of the Queens Suite of the Harrogate Centre to allow you to continue your networking in a more relaxed atmosphere. Cash bar available.

Our 32nd Gala Dinner which is held on the penultimate evening of the conference offers our exhibitors the opportunity to be a part of this very special evening.
Join us for an informal pre-dinner drink with Martin Bruce, BBTS President who is delighted to welcome you to the Presidents Reception before taking your seat in the grand dining room of the impressive 19th Century Majestic Hotel. This hotel reigns supreme amongst 5 acres of landscaped gardens in the heart of Harrogate town centre. Enjoy a stunning four course dining experience in the elegant regency dining room which exudes sophistication and basks in its Victorian heritage of gleaming chandeliers and marble columns. Edward Elgar and Winston Churchill were among the guests to enjoy the hospitality of this hotel which you too can do should you join us on Thursday evening.
Enjoy the rest of the evening with fellow colleagues and friends with live entertainment from a very versatile and energetic line up who will offer a selection of music from all the eras to keep you on your feet all night long! Cash bar available. Dress code: Smart casual -
